Well needless to say like attracts like, cleverness is attracted to cleverness and so on – but it doesn’t completely explain it.
Possibly into the final end it could be unearthed that attraction, or dare say passion, is really a limbic – perhaps maybe not cortical – sensation. Therefore first you fall in love, after which there was a feeble attempt that is not-quite-right explain why — yet somehow you simply cannot love somebody who has “everything right” going. Cannot legislate and can not negotiate desire that is true. But it certain is fun and benign in an attempt to seem sensible from it and produce brand new theories. It is what we do.
